Arabic Secret

Arabic Secret is a documentary film directed by Julia Groszek produced in 2017 and presented at the Kraków Film Festival among other film festivals. The film follows Kamil, a young Polish man, who sets out to find his father Ilham Al Madfai, creator of Arab folk music and a star in the Middle East. Father and son never met.
The titles combine the encounter of two worlds: the Arab and the Western, but also the father and son. Avenir, a geometric and simple typography, contrasts with the plasticity of the Arabic symbols that are drawn in the background.
